Welcome to CyberKnife of Indianapolis

CyberKnife of Indianapolis offers the community a revolutionary treatment for solid tumors and metastatic disease. Using image-guided robotics and highly advanced tracking technology, the CyberKnife Radiosurgery System targets tumors and other lesions in the body while constantly adjusting to a patient’s movements. With sub-millimeter accuracy, CyberKnife focuses beams of radiation into the tumor from hundreds of different angles, leaving the healthy surrounding tissue unharmed. Patients are awake and relaxed through the entire treatment session, which takes anywhere from 30-90 minutes. Treatment may be delivered in 1 to 5 sessions depending on the condition. The result is a painless procedure with minimal side effects and little or no recovery time. Patients can then return home to pursue other activities or spend time with their families immediately after treatment.

Until now, radiosurgery could only treat tumors of the head and neck using uncomfortable procedures and equipment. CyberKnife changes that. With its robotic arm, CyberKnife can treat benign and malignant tumors anywhere in the body. Tumors that were once considered inoperable can now be treated. And, patients that once had only conventional surgery options, or no options at all, can benefit from this new technology in the fight against cancer.

CyberKnife is more than a tool on the road to recovery. It is the future of cancer therapy.
